This week I learned or was reminded of the fact that there are different, equally important, but not equally recognized parts that people need to do. I was charged with an important part in Operation Christmas Child. I helped with the processing, helped with the elementary during the press event, and video-taped the press event. The sad part is that I won't be recognized for what I did. God then reminded me that nothing on this earth should matter to me as long as I am recognized by Him (I always am of course). I thank God for helping me realize this and I will continue to do his work even though I may not get recognized for it.

Moses

This week I watched the Prince of egypt. I was suprised at the extreme faith of these different people.

The mother Jochebed trusted God so much that she was willing to put her son in His hands.

Miriam had an amazing boldness that allowed her to stand for what she knew, even to her own hurt. She would not give up on Moses even when he hurt her. Throughout the entire movie she would not let him stand down or give up.

Aaron was a very good speaker and he was good with words, even though he was not as bold as Miriam, he didn't have to be to help lead the people.

Zipporah was a very strong and free woman. She stood by Moses and comforted him. Even though she was not an Israelite or a slave, she stood for their rights as if she was.

Moses was the most humble man on the earth. God used his humility to make him the leader of the Israelites. He would never take credit for anything but gave all the credit to God. He also had such a love for Egypt and the Pharoah that his heart broke when he had to bring down the plagues. But most all he was strong in his faith. No other man in history wielded God's power like that and led so many people. He always trusted God and never gave up.

I pray that God would give me these qualities and this kind of faith and develope them in me so that I can do something amazing for Him too.

LOL

God is humorous to me. The fact that He knows everything and is always right continues to be beyond my grasp, and the only way I can deal with that is by laughing at it. He makes me look like such a fool. It seems as though every time I get a revalation of something and think I am so great for figuring it out He just stupifies me and says "I knew that a million years ago." Then He also does things so perfectly that it is funny to watch what happens. I could give you a ton of examples but even then it would not even quantify the "Godliness" and humour of God.

I learned this week the responsibility of leadership and authority. I  before I had only experienced the privileges and and joys of authority, but I have found that with those joys comes the responsibility of having to suupervise children that have no obedience what so ever. It is as if they had never been told what to do their entire life. It was stressful when I had to watch them because the never obeyed. Then when I punished them they acted as if they liked it. I have no respect for them anymore. Now that I have learned my lesson I ask God to help me with my responsibilties.

This week  God revealed to me two things. One is that last year I was depressed because I didn't know what God had planned for me. God revealed to me today why He changed things in my life and that He really did know what He was doing. The other thing was that He changed things so that I could grow in Him.

Pride

I believe that pride is the easiest sin for me to fall into. I know that God has given me a spirit of humbleness, and most people say that I am humble. That is when the devil does his work. The devil often so deceptive that he can use our strengths as weaknesses. Before people recognize my talents, I am very humble with them. But, as soon as the people recognize my talents, the devil will try to deceive me to have pride and think that I am so great instead of thinking that God is so great for giving me this amazing talent. The Holy Spirit has revealed this to me and I am now trying, as soon as the devil tries to deceive me, to give God the glory  and thank Him for honoring me with some of it.
